What is the Ron Morris Strength For Living Center and Hanzo Philosophy?
After 25 years of searching, learning, and achieving in the health and fitness world, I saw the shortcomings and contradictions in all aspects of the workout and diet that people seem to so readily accept. There was no real substance or even a concrete approach for that matter to back up what "they" were saying. There was no real effort to link mind and body in any significant way, just catch phrases and glossy pictures selling lots of crap.
My passion, and it is a passion, is to really help people, everyday people, to understand what it means to be physical fit and mentally confident. To show them a true balance of mind, body, and spirit, not just some trendy pop fad! The depth of the Hanzo philosophy is as real as it gets and the people I affect and help is what its really all about. All acquired knowledge is passed on to help move yourself forward to learn more.
The Real McCoy
The goal is to empower the complete person, mind, body, spirit. All too often, the Real McCoy is passed over for the bright shiny object, the Ron Morris Strength for Living Center is at long last that Real McCoy.
Where's Hanzo?
The "Hanzo" talked about throughout this website has a physical place within. Hanzo is the most important awareness you will ever learn. Everything starts from Hanzo, that's the 360 of your torso: abs, obliques, erectors, the center if you will...Your Hanzo is the place you put your attention first when you're doing anything in the physical: workout, walking, sitting, anything that involves movement of the body. More importantly, Hanzo is about your consciousness: thoughts, habits, and beliefs, re-training yourself through instinct and obtaining the correct information to becoming an overall better person everyday.
The Hanzo of Chaos is...
The true nature of how you interact with your life, for example, the chain reaction you set in motion every time you are true to who you are and every time you are false to what you are not. A small lie, a small stumbling block in the road, the truth becomes an easy pass lane.
Learn to remain physically and emotionally "simple" (simple works). It is an undeniable fact that if something is simple and works, the human race will find a way to complicate it beyond all recognition with malice and forethought.
Avoid failure through the ego/fear connection no matter how deep the stupid seas are. Remain in the smart. What matters is finding the simple truth for everything in your life.
- Whatever your initial interest, you must acquire the mental and mechanical basics of said endeavor, (learn a push up).
- You must have a truthful view of your own abilities.
- Bust yourself on habitual thoughts daily, i.e., "I can't", "I'm not", "I won't", etc...
- Have no mindset of predetermined outcome, this will limit you (deciding how things will work out never works).
- Only one goal: To become a better person.
- Plan only the loosest of outlines (ex. Workout today).
- Build a shrine to Ron (a must) out of marble and leave large amounts of cash.
- If you're not having fun, you're not living in chaos.
